Amber

This morning when Amber went to school, she started crying immediately which isn't like her at all. After Kristy left and went to work, she immediately started vomiting and was very pale. This continued through the morning and they eventually called us to pick her up. I went by and then took her to the doctor who ran a strep throat test which came back negative. She was running a fever off and on as well. They referred us downstairs to the hospital for additional blood and urine tests. Now if you haven't ever had to get a urine sample from a toddler, you are in for an adventure. After almost an hour of drinking and running back and forth from the restroom we were finally able to gather a VERY small sample, but enough for the lab folks. We went home and waited for the results from the doctor. Those finally came about 7 o'clock that night and we made a run to the pharmacy to pick up the medicine by about 8ish. We'll see how things go, but for now it appears that she has a Urinary Tract Infection. We're not sure where she got it from. But for now, she's on a simple fruit diet and just water or Gatorade. Please keep her in your prayers for a quick recovery!!!
